Modern air defense faces a critical, financially unsustainable paradox. The rapid proliferation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)—spanning from low-cost Group 1–2 commercial quadcopters and First-Person View (FPV) kamikaze drones to Group 3–4 high-speed, un-jammable jet-powered loitering munitions—has broken traditional defense economics. Utilizing a million-dollar guided Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) to intercept an inexpensive, mass-produced drone is a losing strategy that depletes ammunition inventories and drains multi-million dollar defense budgets. Simultaneously, traditional electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures fail completely against modern, autonomous threats operating via anti-jamming Controlled Reception Pattern Antennas (CRPA), Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), or localized optical tracking. Furthermore, explosive and fragmentation-based kinetic defenses are operationally and legally banned over active civilian runways, critical nuclear energy generation grids, corporate hyperscale data centers, and dense urban zones due to the severe risk of collateral damage from falling debris.

The UNIVERSAL SNARE MASTER™ Platform completely rewrites this paradigm. It introduces a modular, scale-agnostic, non-explosive kinetic defeat platform engineered to autonomously neutralize the entire spectrum of unmanned air breathing threats (Groups 1–4) with a true zero-collateral footprint. Operating entirely via completely passive, non-emitting sensor networks, the system remains electromagnetically invisible to enemy detection while turning the threat’s own physical mechanics—propeller torque and high-RPM turbojet suction—into the instrument of its own rapid destruction.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE & MULTI-TIERED DEPLOYMENT

The Universal Snare Master utilizes a single, unified fire-control backbone to orchestrate a flexible family of modular carriage configurations, establishing a robust inner-tier defensive perimeter linking threat detection with passive asset isolation across a variable multi-kilometer range envelope.

1. Close-In Saturation Tier (0m – 300m) A compact, ground-based security stanchion configured with low-velocity, un-rifled pneumatic launch pathways. Engineered for rapid inner-perimeter saturation defense, this tier is optimized for immediate integration into sensitive civilian airport perimeters and critical infrastructure sites, operating with absolute zero thermal, acoustic, or explosive launch signatures. 

2. Extended Heavy Ground Tier (400m – 800m+) A scaled-up, heavy ground-mount variant utilizing unguided, high-mass multi-body shells. Engineered for extended-range threat intercept, this tier preserves high downrange velocity and kinetic energy retention to engage fast-moving tactical assets before an inner security perimeter breach occurs. 

3. Airborne Interceptor Tier (Multi-Kilometer Range) An integrated, ultra-lightweight carbon-fiber composite carriage module configured for deployment from carrier drone-interceptor platforms. Guided by remote base tracking data, the hunter-drone sprints downrange into the immediate airspace of distant target swarms to execute precise, point-blank kinetic releases, removing all downrange atmospheric velocity decay constraints.
